If you like to decorate with natural ornaments, the easiest way is to make your own.:) 

The best part is that you can combine it with a foraging hike outdoors. For this garland, you will only need to collect a few pine cones from the forest (of course, it’s worth collecting something else for other ornaments!)

You will need:

Collected pine cones

Cord

Glue / glue gun

White paint and brush

Steps:

1. Go for a big walk in the woods and collect some pine cones
2. Paint the end of the pine cone scales with a little bit of white paint
3. After they have dried, glue the top of the pine cones to the cord at any distance (we left about 10 cm spacing between them)
4. And that’s it, your garland is ready to decorate with!:)
